I made pancakes this morning ^__^

Of course, that ambition was immediately countered by my laziness to actually leave the house. Just did not feel like getting in early this morning.

My chest feels tight, and it's hard to draw a deep breath. Very weird. It's happened before though, and usually goes away in a day or so (unless, of course, nikery is passing germs through the internet). I think this has to do with the way I slept last night, since I was perfect when I went to bed.

Bugs tried to destroy me this weekend. First I was attacked by a spider in the shower (srsly, it risked drowning to come at me), then a june bug scared the bloody fuck out of me. I shrieked and fled my room from the zomg loud buzzing sound. My tolerant roommate came to the rescue. I is a wuss.

*yawn* I can has nap now?

.....it beats lying in bed, innocently reading a good manga only to notice a strange movement at the edge of your field of vision, look up from the book, and see a spider crawling on your coverlet, roughly four inches or so from your face.

I screamed. I flailed.

Worst part? THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENED!!! ><

My room gets bonus points for being the coolest room in the house in summer, but serious minus points for all the bugs. *shudder*

I had that happen to me once. Only I was asleep and woke up to a spider crawling towards me across the covers.

I always think that when I see bugs/spiders that disappear, but I always manage to either pass out or forget about them :/

^____^ I'm just glad my country's too cold for 'em BIG spiders.

I get a lot of these babies as visitors as well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crane_fly

if I leave the window open, and the lights on, at least one will come in, every single time. unfortunately, the lighting in my living room is a sort of chandelier-like thing, with five arms with glass bowl things that holds the bulbs. my insect friends, attracted to the light, enter these bowls, where they die, either cause it's hot, or they can't get out and starve, I dunno. I don't wanna think about how many dead bugs there are in that thing.

Changing the light bulbs is always interesting, though. I keep praying "please, don't let my finger brush a dead insect, please, please, please."

oh, and once I forgot to shut the window and a snail came in.......

And I'm not even gonna start on the woodlice. Actually, I think the woodlice and the spiders are having a war in my bathroom or something. Hmm, I wonder which side set up the booby trap with the ceiling lamp falling down... <-was 4-8 inches from getting it right on my head.

....want more bug stories? I'm sure I can remember a few more... ^___^

You weren't there when that happened.... I'm sure you probably heard about it, but not being there would definitely make it less of a memorable moment. XD

I was totally ambushed in the car this morning. As I was making a left hand turn against traffic. There was much flailing and omg, gonna kill myself-ness, but I got the window open and I think it flew out. I don't have any idea what it was... it was too close to my face to see it properly.

I hope you have a good day! And that your breathing returns to normal and you don't encounter more scary bugs. *nods* I wonder if it is a high ozone day in Cincinnati? That could affect your breathing.

"My chest feels tight, and it's hard to draw a deep breath."

That sounds like asthma. Though it's possible I'm thinking that because I woke up with the allergy asthma 1-2 punch.

I was briefly a fly magnet. You have my sympathies. And I was just wondering what are you going to work on now.

It's most likely what I had, most women get it. The actual term for it is Costochondritis, and what it is is an inflammation of the cartilidge between your sternum and your rib bones so it can almost feel like sharp jabbing pains but goes away. All the doctor says to do is take an anti-flammatory three times a day until it goes away. If your having that sharp feeling, or when you move it hurts or pops and what not that is most likely that. They say it's very, very common for women to get it even at the age of eight.

Take care,
Jennifer

Mmm, pancakes. Also, bugs in the shower are the worst; I once had a giant black bug drop onto my leg and I screamed (which is very rare for me) and literally jumped out of the shower. I now have a habit of checking the ceiling before I go into the shower to make sure nothing's up there.

I was up in Cinci this w/e for the Reds games, and I woke up not being able to breathe very well. I then saw the smog alerts all over, so I bet that's it.

Also, spiders are the devil. Truly. My mom and I have a deal, she'll kill all the spiders if I kill the centipede things, which terrify her. :)
