So I caved. $105.00 on ten books. Which isn't bad, considering the haul (and most of these are a "sorry I'm leaving you alone with the parents" gift for my sister Brandie). It's a nice hault, hard to feel guilty really:

Of course a good thirty minutes was spent drooling over the three Mercedes Lackey books I can't have yet - Exhile's Valor, Alta, and This Rough Magic. Aaaand *squee* Drowned Wednesday by Garth Nix is coming out in September of this year, instead of January 2005. Speaking of Nix, I'm halfway through Ragwitch and loving it muchly. What other fantasy book did I finish recently? Oh yeah - Dog's Body by...I'm forgetting her name. The chick that rights the Chronicles of Crestomanci, which she really needs to write more of. But Dog's was really good - I'm not much on animal pov stuff, but that book did it well and then some.

Enough rambling. I should feel bad about blowing a hundred bucks I really need on books, but I just can't. Books = True Love.

Speaking of reading et al. I must get back to work. Skylark's been more patient than I deserve, it's time I get her stories done.

Yeah, except there's wayyyy too much UST. There were times when I just wanted to strangle both of them. I'll sit there and scream stuff like, "Dee, just @#%! him black and blue already!!" XD
