We'll see if I can actually do it. A lot of it rides on those storie deciding to cooperate. If I'd had my way, most of them would already be done. And of course there are a couple of short stories I would like to do, and I may start one today. It's hesitantly called The Matchmaker.

In completely unrelated news, just b/c it pisses me off but is not worth a seperate post - I am conservative, I say that up front. I'm not extremist, obviously I have liberal leanings...but I don't like any of the candidates this year. They both fucking suck, imho. But I had thought that Obama was a bit more open minded (insofar as any politician can be). Yet on this snippet of interview I just saw on TV, he said he believes marriage "to be a union between a man and a woman" and that sort of leaves me going "..." because I thought equality was his big ticket, or one of them. WTF is the point of calling yourself open-minded, and running on that, if you're only open minded about some things? It seems to me that if you can think there is no difference between black and white and wtfever, you could stop being so fucking old-fashioned about sexuality and marriage and all. Because I can tell you right now that historically speaking, marriage was never about love, and god, or any of that crap they all trot out, and it wasn't always one man + one woman.

Also, both candidates need to leave the motherfucking religion out of the picture. Funny how we remember that whole seperation thing when some kid tries to bring a bible to school (oh no!), but it's perfectly okay for the fucking candidates to blather on about religion and crap. Argh. I should stay out of politics, I always miss the whole picture.

But that definition of marriage thing really peeved me off, because I had thought his stance was supposed to be more open minded than that.
