I suck at hiatus

maderrBut this story was too amusing not to share.
Mondays are Mondays, man. I left the house at my new usual time - 7:55 - which gets me on the 8:10 bus. Get to work at 8:45, plenty of time.
Except today, about six blocks (give or take, probably take, I'm terrible at judging such things) from work my bus ran out of gas.
Bus driver said she had no fucking clue (essentially) when another bus would show. So I had to hoof it. Vastly amusing, especially since people looked me like I was cracked in the head. I ask you - who is really cracked in the head? The woman willing to walk a pathetic six blocks to get to work on time (9:02, good enough), or the people who sit on the bus waiting and waiting and waiting.
Shit like that always amuses me. The rest of the day blew, but that was funny.
I put up Ink & Paper as an ebook on lulu, finally put up the compiled version of fairytales there, though just as an ebook, and am still hoping that sometime tonight I will have completed The Matchmaker up there as well. If not tonight, tomorrow.
Now to eat.
