Today was a total and complete bust. I'm still kind of in a bitchy sulk about it.

However, I just spent grocery money on Ra's new album *.* There are some voices, some music, that totally enthralls me. Ra pwns me. Utterly. This album is going a long way toward salvaging my mood.

If I could only prod a muse into working, I'd say the day was not a total wash. But since LG last night, nothing.

This is what I get for being such a moody person. When shit upsets me, I can't function until the problem is resolved. One way or the other.

But Ra is purr and *.* and yes please.

Also, Mine Lord Gaimen made me giggle. He was talking about a Good Omens volume he got - the Czek version, I think he said, and he commented that it was "the slashiest cover he'd seen yet" which was just awesome to me ^___^

Oh I like that picture! Very muchly. Until I remember who it is and my brain rebels at the thought of looking at Aziraphale's butt, well both really, but mostly Aziraphale. But apart form that it's a fabulous pic, thanks for sharing. :D

Ugh, I can never get anything done when I'm in a sulktastic mood. All i want to do is curl up and read slashy fanfiction all day. I'm not the most productive person in the world xD

What/Who is Ra? Is Ra band/artist? What is his/her/their music like? I ask because i'm looking for more bands to LOVE. I have a lot to like, but i want something else that i zoom towards every time i switch on my ipod.

*Laughs* That IS a slash cover. It would lead a lot of people to read it and find out that it had no slash in it at all, though a few moments that would lead those hoping for a connection to have their ears perk up and tails wag momentarily. Still, if they are led to read it from just the cover, then they should be happily surprised by the story instead. X3

NEIL GAIMAN FTW

I went to a booksigning by him, once. (I've been to a Terry Pratchet one, too, but that was separately.) I magically ended up in the same pew (yes, PEW. It was a signing for Anansi Boys, but it was being held in a CHURCH. And yes, the irony of doing a signing for a book about a bunch of gods in a church was definitely commented upon) but yeah, I ended up in the same pew as a bunch of other slash lovers. I know this because when Neil Gaiman began to talk about Good Omens, he got to a point where he mentioned fanfiction, saying something along the lines of "there are some out there who have written more about Aziphrale and Crowley than even I have." Pause. "Most of it involving sex."

The entire pew that I was sitting in ducked down guiltily. It was like it had been REHEARSED. It was brilliant.

Uhm. Just wanted to share that. **cough**
