Christmas in July!

From the comm:
in honor of it being Christmas in July, this challenge will work as a Santa exchange. You'll be assigned a partner, you'll write a short story for that partner and because getting mail is always a ton of fun, you'll exchange gifts (max of $10.00, something cheap and fun. ;3). It'll be fun! Be creative! Send something out of season and Christmasy, or something that relates to your story, or something that's just fun and for the hell of it. ^_^
This will also, for the sake of making it much easier on everyone, be restricted to original fiction.
That being said, don't sign up if 1)you don't think you can afford it and 2)if you think you'll back out. These sign ups are only for those serious about signing up. You will know who's writing for you and your recipient will know that you are writing for them.
Sign ups will be through the end of June and partners will be assigned July 1st. The deadline to have packages out in the mail is July 28th.
So come play, 'cause the more the merrier and the more pretty stories you will eventually get to read ^___^ Plus, hard copy of a story and present. What is not to love?
