maderrWas up 'til five working on my Cid/Vin fic - it's rather unnerving to see that I'm writing it. But I like it so far, so we'll see how it turns out. I think it's going to turn out to be rather long, but given that one of the biggest problems with most fics I read is that they're too damn short to work, that only makes sense.
Have hauled all my clothing out of my room. Am beginning the slow, tedious process of sorting: what goes, what stays with Brandie, what goes into the trash. You can't really see the living room couch anymore, it's rather amusing.

My personal beef with most of them is the weepy!uke!Vincent, the oh!woe!is!me!Vincent that seems to have propagated in fandom. And I did the same thing that you did with a lot of my pairings: I wrote them because I knew that the pairing, when written right, could really work well....

And I'm glad I'm not the only one that writes b/c there's a lack of good stories around - my sister keeps laughing at me.

There's a few FFX stories dealing with Auron and Braska that I would write, but they've already been written so well by someone else that I wouldn't even attempt it.
