Was up 'til five working on my Cid/Vin fic - it's rather unnerving to see that I'm writing it. But I like it so far, so we'll see how it turns out. I think it's going to turn out to be rather long, but given that one of the biggest problems with most fics I read is that they're too damn short to work, that only makes sense.

Have hauled all my clothing out of my room. Am beginning the slow, tedious process of sorting: what goes, what stays with Brandie, what goes into the trash. You can't really see the living room couch anymore, it's rather amusing.

Want to work on fic. Must pack.

#o____o# Aw, thanks. ^___^ It's always nice to know that I succeeded in doing what I wanted to in that story. I look back at it now and see things that I want to change, and can't quite tell if they ruin it or not....

Everyone looks back at their stories and goes "Hmm, that could used fixed." I don't think we'd be writers if we didn't. But I do enjoy your story, luckily I'm shooting for something different or I'd feel there was no need to write.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one that writes b/c there's a lack of good stories around - my sister keeps laughing at me.

I'm glad you like it. :) And I know what you mean about sometimes feeling no need to write a story that's already done it so well. There's a few FFX stories dealing with Auron and Braska that I would write, but they've already been written so well by someone else that I wouldn't even attempt it.

:laughs: No, you're definitely not the only one. I write just because I feel that the characters deserve better than some of the schlock out there....
