This creepy ass looking bug just crawled across the floor. I tried to catch it and it fled under the couch. One: I have no idea what the FUCK this little bastard is. It looked like a weird ass mix of spider, grasshopper and freaky. Two: I have to sleep on that couch .

Like fucking hell I do - I'm not going to sleep until I find the little bastard. No alien bug is sucking my blood while I try to sleep, no way in fucking hell.

Perhaps I should put the Stephen King aside for a little while...or use it to kill that bug.

No, I didn't. And my family thinks I'm making it all up, they just look at me like I'm either a wuss or an idiot.

Nope. Not a wuss or an idiot. My room is in the basement and in the summer I used to leave my outside door open to get air.. until I found a cricket the size of my head under my bed... ick. *shudder*

oh, I hate those. I almost stepped on a cricket-o-doom the other day refilling my coffee. that's not the best way to finally wake up, blech.

the basement? I hope crickets were the worst thing you find living there

Yuck! And they are all noisy when you step on them too.. I'm glad you missed it!

Well, it's a finished basement. It was the study/ office for the previous owner. It's actually pretty nice. I've got two rooms to spread out in and because the rest of the family is two floors up I can play music and watch tv at normal levels at any hour and not have to worry about waking anybody up. And you can *almost* see the white walls under the posters and wallscrolls ;) I actually managed to put a 28 year old fanboy in shock the first time he walked into my room ;) It's a bit.. colorful ;)

We bought a new house about two years ago but before that we were crammed into a two bedroom two bath house that was older so it was smaller. Now everybody has their own room and peace has been restored ;)

I'm not sure if it was the wallscrolls hung horizontally across on the ceiling, the Weiss posters on the ducts over my bed or the shonen-ai corner that got to him first ;) I think I've got pictures buried somewhere in my hard drive. I should see if I can find them...

too funny for words, your room sounds like the one I'd like to have eventually. I would have loved to have seen his face.

Small houses suck - the only reason we haven't killed each other is that we're rarely all here together anymore.

yeah this is really the perfect room for me. I've got my bed, my computer (Happy 21st to me) and DVD player down here. I'm set. ;)

His eyes were pretty wide but he managed to keep his mouth shut until he looked up. Then I wasn't sure if I'd have to re-hinge his jaw to this face. ;)

I was the only one with a car and licence (read as freedom) in the old house so everybody was usually in the living room at one time o.O; now that Amy is driving and Robbie is a few months away there is usually nobody gome.. which I DON'T mind!
