Usual Stories
I also think I"m going to reread HBP. My flist is a mix of negative and positive reviews and I'd like another reading before I make up my own mind. I've avoided my own long spiel simply because I'm not quite sure where I stand yet. There were things I liked and things I didn't like. Ah, well.
I so can't wait until A Mankind Witch arrives. I bought it in the bookstore but it wasn't in house, they're shipping it to me (and it cost me less, wtih shipping, to do that than to buy it from the bookstore. wtf, mate?).
Oh, and Beej? Am enjoying the Garth Nix book muchly. The first story is about Nicholas Sayre, and all the rest are non-abhorsen stories. The last one is my favorite, it's all of three pages but now it has me wanting to write fairytales again (which is good, as I have to write several).
I can't help but feel there's something I'm forgetting.

Date: 2005-07-18 11:16 am (UTC)I've obviously made up my mind about some things, but then, there's still just... stuff to look over again. Voldemort's history, especially intrigued me.
That, and as I said, this ranks as one of my top books. I see this one be read many, many times more anyway.
