Aug. 8th, 2005 09:41 pmDear Real Life,
Stop interfering in my writing.
No love,
Exhausted Megan
But jeez am I yanking in the overtime. I wish said overtime didn't require leaving the house at 6:00 am but I'll get over it. Life could definitely be worse and tomorrow should be cool because I'll have a bitch slave minion (with a french accent, to beat all) to help me organize things.
*yawn*
Meager accomplishments for the evening: Wrote a few pages of Midsummer's Moon. If work doesn't kick my ass, I'm bound and determined to finish at least the second part by week's end.
Also spent lunch writing out the next two stories in Dance with the Devil.
And all should be proud that I did not cave to temptation and just write Prisoner all week.
I profusely apologize for failing miserably to finish Paradise, as well as not completing all the stories I still owe various and sundry of my beloved comrades. I wil get to them eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I also wrote my Sensory story over the weekend, but I'm afraid it's fluffy, drively CRAP and not the cool story I wanted so we'll see how long I keep it >_<
All right, I'm out peeps.
*note to self* If you finish Midsummer, you may preorder the Lord's forthcoming Holy Scripture. But only if you finish Midsummer.
Stop interfering in my writing.

You rock. I know how frustrating your life can be, and I never seem to say as much as I should, but you never fail to make me smile ^_^ And I still owe you a b-day fic, I haven't forgotten.

Date: 2005-08-09 02:15 am (UTC)Speaking of which, if you're going to keep yours, I should probably edit it, huh?
no subject
Date: 2005-08-09 08:27 am (UTC)Yes, but is mine worth keeping? Sit down and work on yours - it'll make Megan feel better after waking up at four thirty and working 'til six.
If you don't mind? Crap or not, I don't have time to write anything else.

Date: 2005-08-10 01:20 am (UTC)I wasn't concerened. I figured either you were busy or it sucked XD XD
By the eleventh is sufficent. I only need an hour or so to make corrections.
Is it really okay? Or just fluffy and not much good otherwise? *headwall*

Date: 2005-08-10 01:56 am (UTC)It's really good. And fluffy. It's not like you can only have one or the other. It is possible for coexistance. ^_~
By the eleventh then. ^_^

Date: 2005-08-09 02:24 am (UTC)I'm waiting for the rest of Paradise with baited breath...
*and* Kidnapped/A Matter of Power...don't know why, but that first scene just...*intrigues* me...in a big way.
*whines* stop working so many hours. You need to write more! ^_~

Date: 2005-08-09 08:31 am (UTC)^_^ Dance is fun to write. I don't know what I did to deserve that muse, but I'm glad I get to play with it.
Me too
Yeah? I'm fond of my sci-fi story, even if it's probably bad sci-fi according to all the experts. I haven't uploaded the rest of the story b/c I'd wanted to edit it all, but at this point I may just go ahead and worry about editing when I can.
Yes ma'am! ^_^

Date: 2005-08-10 01:13 am (UTC)Picture? What did I manage to do to earn forgiveness?
And I can't promise, but I'll try very hard to get started on typing the next chapter. If this week goes well, I can get at least a snippet once I finish Midsummer.
And what is this bribery? I'm shallow enough to except bribes XD

Date: 2005-08-09 08:15 am (UTC)grin... on random note, did you know that they had an auction on it? ^^ the contribution was to charity but the item up for big was an autographed first press edition of the book PLUS the ability to name a ship inside the book... *grin* I think it sold for almost 2k pounds in the end... yikes...

That's pretty impressive. But I'd pay that much if I had it.

Date: 2005-08-09 08:35 am (UTC)But true... ^^ the biggest issue though would be what would you name the ship.... *muse*
