Okay, I am looking at hotels at Hotels.com but I wanted to let you know that I can't book them. I can try and get AAA rates and/or my mom to abuse her Holiday Inn and other hotel points.
That isn't the big problem. We need to discuss the second half of the trip. I need to work out France with you.
Okay, I am not going to Italy. I took one look at that part in the guidebook and decided against it. Now, I realize you really want to go but I strongly, strongly, SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTRRRRRRRRRRROOOOONNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY recommend that you don't go either. My judgement rests upon three main points 1.)MONEY, 2.)TIME, and 3.)SANITY.

Umm..I really don't want to deal with hotels. They're too expensive. I really was just planning to hostel it the whole time. There's no way in hell I can afford hotels.
Work out France how? And explain Italy a bit more - I'll listen to you gladly, just know that the one thing Sammie & I wanted more than anything else was to see the Last Judgement. Really - all we want is a day or two in Rome. The rest can wait for another trip. I figure you weren't going, in regards to that. Plus Tool told me, b/c everyone apparently thinks I'm some sort of fucking timebomb.
Hey - would it be easier for you just to wait until you got home? I'll stay up/wake up or whatever. I know this method must be more a pain than a pleasure for you gomi.

If you're really that leery about it, I will talk to Sam - but most likely I won't reach her until we're already there. But I agree that really we all want to spend most of our time in France. I will see, she may be amenable.
