As I've said before, I overwhelm myself with stuff to do and ulitmately wind up doing nothing. This needs to change, esp. since I really and truly want to try lulu, as well as a couple of epublishers (like iris).

But I keep going "oh I shoud work on this but i said I'd do this and I really need to finish this but first I have to finish this...."

Ugh. It's entirely my own fault, I jsut don't know how to dig myself out of it =_=

Two things I would like to do is brush up Kidnapped and Treasure, but I have not the time to edit them and neither do my betas, so it gets shunted to the side.

Am 53% done with Burning Bright, 96% done wtih Prisoner. Both will need editing. Lots of it.

Woul dearly love to finish Embrace, Paradise, and Dance with the Devil.

Also have roughly five new fairytales in mind, since I figure new, never read online would be better for something like lulu.

Also want to work on Never Afraid.

Do you see where I give myself a headache? Add to that the other stuff I should be doing, but am not, and we can see why Megan is alway mad at herself.

And as per usual, I've added Sandstorm on to all that

>_<

So I think I'll play catch up with smaller stuff, and Prisoner, the rest of this month. If I *really* try, and push myself like I know I can, I could also finish Burning Bright.

I know I can do it. For fuck's sake, I wrote 96,000+ words in one month. That was most of Prisoner. It's 274 pages long and will probably reach, possibly clear, 300. Which is pathetic for a standard fantasy novel but pretty fucking skippy for me. If I could finish it.

If you have a pref name it. Because come next month I'm going to attempt to work on one novel/novella a month. I apologize now for everything that gets shunted to the side. My plan right now is to submit a couple of things to a few places, and to have a nice line up for lulu by my birthday.

Sorry for the spasticness. I'll be a reliable write one day. =_=

Shower now. Then writing. OMG so tired. Work is sucking the energy right out of me.

First of all, get a grip. Eat some nice soup with rice, close your eyes, and realize that we're all NOT going to be upset if you don't think about writing for a while. Nor will we be really upset if you table some of your things for a few months or a year, because we all know that you want to become a pro writer, and you should concentrate on that stuff first.

You're putting WAY too much pressure on yourself, and it sounds like it's affecting your writing: your mind keeps giving you new ideas and not enough time to write, and that puts more pressure on you, which makes your mind wander to other things and then find MORE ideas. Find one story (like Prisoner, since you're mostly done with it), and finish it. Scribble your ideas in a separate notebook and don't look at them. Try incorporating your new ideas into your already begun stories.

And don't feel bad about taking a break!

*love, love, love*

*facepalm* I forgot you sent me that Kidnapped file so I could work on it when I got the time--like I never do *rolls eyes*.

Take a deep breath and stop thinking so much. That's my job.

And personally speaking, I don't care if I've already read the fairy tales, I'd buy the compilation anyway. They're worth it. ^_^

But I'm totally gonna put in my vote for Prisoner right now. 'Cause that means I get more canon! I'm done now.

*hugs you* ^^ spazzticing only ends with the inevitable head-meets-desk encounters. Maybe you should draw out a spiffy little chart and pacing yourself? ^^~

Sorry I'm mostly lurking in the corners here, but I really enjoy your writings and I'd really hate for you to feel burdened/overwhelmed by your stories.

Can I friend you?

<3 A chart is a good idea.

You don't have to ask ^^; As I tell all n00bs, I merely write here. It is the rest of the lot that pwns it.

My favorites are DwtD, Sixpence (yeah, I know, going WAY back, but it's the first story I ever read of yours) and Burning Bright. In any order you choose, because I love them all.

Good luck.

HAH! Finally, someone else asks for Sixpence! And also, I see nobody's asked for Midsummer yet. :P

*huuuuuuuuuuuuugs*

If you like you can just email me the file for any of the ones you want edited and I'll work on it this break. I need an excuse to keep a classmate from coming over to my house anyway... Although I suppose gaming is a pretty good excuse. XD;;;;

On the bright side, you just finished your Harem boys.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

You are getting them done.

I'm eagerly awaiting whatever comes next.

Are you ever planning on putting Sixpence on your website? I keep hearing about, and I've not read it.. so.. ::twitch::

I wholeheartedly agree with [livejournal.com profile] mailechan. Pick a story (Preferably one near to completion) and take it across the finish line. Once it has the gold The End seal on it, you should feel much better.

do DwtD!!! its soo good, and its definitely my favourite. Mainly because Sable is sex on legs...or possibly the computer screen. haven't decided yet.
That and Paradise, which comes a close second.
good luck with your crazy, ambitious plans!

...Really, I like them all. >.> I would say pick the one you really feel you want to finish and do that one. I mean, I enjoy all of your writing, so it doesn't make a huge difference to me which one you finish first.
