They're actually calling me 'Miss Derr'
Feb. 20th, 2004 10:18 amSo I've had two classes so far. The writing lesson wasn't actually much - technically we should have read the lessons aloud and then they do silent work but they seemed to be getting ansty during the group stuff so I just let them do it all silent. That was the good class.
Social Studies was a riot, they were supposed to read an article and write the definitions. Ah, but this class has The Troublemaker. Two seconds into class he asked if I was twenty two, then I got quizzed on where I live, etc. etc. Despite the noise, they seemed to actually get the work done (except for trouble). Now I seem to have an hour or so of free time before I have to report for Lunch Duty.
I have no idea what to do in regards to Lunch Duty. Hmm...best go find a teacher.
Oh - a couple of the students called me Miss Deer. Anyone says a word DRAKE and I'll flatten you.
