I loved the movie. It was so very much like the old cartoons - the smartass, the cheezy and not ashamed to be cheezy, the awful jokes (oh, god, there was one that made the entire theatre groan it was *awesome*), the cuteness.

My only mild complaints are that April has become anorexic and they never once did anything with the original theme song, which would have been cute.

Also, were Raph and Leo always that goddamn slashly because christ, I don't think the movie was trying to hide it

I want to see it again.

Okay, todays plans are to clean my fsking house because I've let it fall into a truly disgusting state, and then to read the Gun Shy chapter Sammie sent me ^__^ And then to drabbles.

Speaking of writing, [livejournal.com profile] twilight_angel wrote an awesome Prisoner fic.Check it out! Mmm, Dieter biting.

Need coffee now.

Wow! You really liked it, huh? That's good to hear, because I was getting kind of nervous at reading the reviews I've seen posted, but at the same time I didn't trust them because I wasn't sure that they were coming from a TMNT fan. I'd really only trust a TMNT fan's rec on the movie.

I think I'm going to be going to this movie alone, though. Lamentably.

I haven't read any reviews, but yeah. All I could think was that it was just like the old cartoons. I mean there's no complicated, intense plot or whatall - but there shouldn't be. These are the Ninjaturtles ^__^ And they were, and I was most happy.
