I can't win

I so can't fucking win.

Last night, to make my life easier, I seperated out the flashbacks from the present day in Dark Paladin. Added a new flashback, touched up two more.

This morning...

My computer reset itself while I was in the shower.

I though I'd saved them. I didn't.

So now they're all gone.

15 pages gone. The only 15 pages of the story I liked.

I proceed to cry now.

I had that happen with my thesis once. Another time, I thought I'd lost an assignment, but Word recovered it the next time I opened the program... *crosses fingers*

As much as I hate to say this, but it might be best if you just back off from the story. That's what I had to do with the section of my thesis I lost. :( I hope your day gets better.
