So, trip to Fearfest was mostly a bust, but there was a few good moments.

One of them was this 'adults only' show they'd been pimping. We decided to go see those of us willing to make decisions anyway.

It starts with a car 'crashing' - sound effects, a flipped over prop car, and before the show we could see a bed in the middle of the stage. So my initial thought was that it'd be about a dead boyfrirend or something who goes to see his girlfriend one last time. Something like that yeah?

Oh, no. It starts instead with a girl in white lingeries sleeping on the bed, all these guys and chicks dancing around the stage (badly) singing (horribly) a song of which the only word I could really catch was 'nightmare'

Oookay. So the story portion or whatever will start after Cheezy Song #1

Negative.

Promptly after the first song ends, a new one starts, with just the three guys dancing around the bed and on the bed, obviously tormenting the sleeping pure girl who I guess is having a nightmare? The overall premise to the show never did make itself obvious.

Anyway.

Then they tie the girl to the bed. The girl sitting next to me and I started howling with laughter.

And then the other chicks came back out, dressed in black lingerie, to do more terrible dancing/singing.

By this point we're starting to annoy the people around us with snarky comments.

Just when we thought it could not possibly get any better--

The new song number is an Evanescence song.

I told the girl I was with 'this show is like the bastard child of Rocky Horror Picture Show and Grease"

Shortly thereafter about three rows of people, us included, got up and left.

It was awful and traumatic and hilarious, those ten minutes. Can't imagine lasting the entire forty five minutes. So wish I'd had my camera.

LOLZ. I had a giggle fit right there. :3

So fearfest's at Ceder Point? Or Paramount or something? We have Halloween Horror Nights down here in Universal, but that sucks since none of the rides are open, and the place is too lite-up to be scary. That, and WAY to many people.....><;;

The fun part of Fearfest (or Halloween Haunt as it's now called) is to take Sarah along & go thru the haunted circus house. ^_^
