story frustrations

So my SMP story simply refuses to cooperate. My beloved betas have helped immensely but nothing they've suggested or I've tried 'clicks' The story has come to a standstill and I'll be damned if I can figure out how to get it going again. I'm afraid the problem is in what I've already written but so far I haven't figured out what.

Story due soon, hope my penchant for fixing things last minute works soon -_-

In the meantime, trying to stay positive about work.

*hugs* I really wanted to say something in your last post about work, but I felt that I really had nothing to offer other than hugs, so I decided I'd wait until I had something more constructive to offer. And, well. I still only have hugs, but hopefully they're something.
